Profile Products earns International Trade Council Go Global Award

Profile Products was honored with the International Trade Council’s Business of the Year Award in the Legend of Manufacturing category during the 2019 Go Global Awards held in Chicago on October 23. The Go Global Awards are designed to celebrate businesses that are driving international trade through their innovations, technologies and strategies.

“This award is a reflection of our incredible global partnerships and customers in our erosion control, sports fields, horticulture and landscape businesses. We are thankful to work with them every day,” said Jim Tanner, president and CEO Profile Products. “Moving forward, we are energized to build upon this recognition and continue providing green solutions for the environment all around the world.”

The Legend of Manufacturing Award is presented to an organization recognized as an industry leader that has made the leap in its shift toward improvement and sustainability by focusing on strategic thinking as an initiative.

Profile received praise for their industry-leading, eco-friendly products and sustainable production methods, including being the first and only company in the industry to use recycled-content packaging across all product lines. Profile also received recognition for its innovative global business strategies and partnerships that have allowed the company to establish more than 1,300 distribution points on six continents and in more than 75 countries.

As part of the application process, the top 70 finalists were asked to present their companies to a panel of judges during the Think Global Forum held in Chicago October 22-23. Profile’s J. Wesley Martin, director of business development, and Adam Dibble, director of marketing, presented on behalf of the company to hundreds of senior executives from some of the world’s most innovative manufacturers, re-manufacturers and exporters, along with representatives from government bodies, trade associations, venture-capital firms and financial institutions.

Nearly 3,800 applicants from 36 countries entered into the Go Global Awards.
