DuraEdge Products is seeking a Sports Turf Construction Crew Member to join our growing Homefield Athletic team. Homefield Athletic is a division of DuraEdge Products that provides the service offerings for solutions to everyday problems on sports fields. As a member of our Homefield team, you will work on baseball and softball fields ranging from recreational, high school, college, and professional fields. Primary tasks of this position include learning and performing proper installation and maintenance techniques of infield surfaces, warning tracks, bullpens, etc. This unique career opportunity will allow you to be a part of providing safe and playable infield surfaces for America’s favorite pastime!

Job Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of Crew leader to ensure job completion to company and customer standards.
• Learn and practice proper techniques for installing infield mixes, mound clays, warning track materials & topdressing materials.
• Practice safe equipment operation and maintenance
• Interact in a professional manner with the customer, maintenance staff, contractors and end users to ensure they understand the products installed and how to maintain them.
• Exemplify safe work practices and follow company’s compliance standards.
• Proper candidate should be willing to learn and grow within company

Job Requirements

• 40 hours a week plus overtime when required
• Travel within region
• Valid driver’s license, capable of obtaining Commercial Driver Medical Certification (DOT Physical)
• Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in sports field maintenance, landscaping or construction.
• 2+ years’ experience in light equipment operation
• Knowledge in the sport of baseball and softball.
• Possess the skills to lead, problem solve, and work well in team environment.
